At TACFL, we have welcomed a new Reality Check Coordinator, Abbey Clark, to the team.
Abigail holds a bachelors degree from Nazareth College in Public Health and Psychology, and joins our team at the American Lung Association as a Reality Check Coordinator for Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates Counties. Abigail has the desire to motivate others to become the very best version of themselves. She is a compassionate person who wants to make a difference in the lives of others.
TACFL currently has Reality Check groups at Waterloo High School and Clyde-Savannah. We are always looking to expand our program, so if you think you’re school would be a good fit, please reach out!
Reality Check Youth are trained to become change-makers in their community, educating about the harms of tobacco use along with the marketing tactics of the tobacco industry. The group aims to reduce the impact of tobacco in their communities. We are excited to have Abbey on board to work with the Reality Check Youth on many upcoming projects!
We are hosting a Smoke-Free Movie event with the SHAC of Livingston-Monroe Cos. next month! Please check it out and come to support our mission of reducing the tobacco imagery exposure with our youth population. ... See MoreSee Less
